Privacy

The service works without accounts and without advertising trackers. We keep the minimum data needed to run the map and fight spam.

What we store

Jellyfish reports: beach, date, type and number of jellyfish, whether someone was stung, and an optional comment and photo.

Contact form messages: the text and, if you give them, a name and e-mail for the reply.

A one-way hash of your IP address, only for rate limiting and spam protection. The IP address itself is not stored.

What others see

Jellyfish reports (without the IP hash) are shown on the beach page. Photos of reports hidden by the moderator are not shown.

Telegram bot

If you subscribe in the bot, we store the chat ID, language and your subscriptions. The /stop command removes them.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Browser storage keeps only your chosen colour theme.

Deleting data

Write to us through the contact form with the beach and date of your report and we will delete it.

Questions and answers

What data do you collect?
